Take your time - every card in this room has its own hour.
The smartphone is the default camera. Every holiday becomes a feed of filtered sunsets, flat whites and famous facades. Posting a physical card now feels almost rebellious.
Designers borrow from the vintage revival: travel posters, hand-lettering, muted palettes. The postcard itself becomes a curated object, bought in museums and independent bookshops rather than corner newsagents.
The ones that make it into the collection from this decade are often beautiful, self-aware, chosen with care. They know they are anachronisms, and they wear it well.
