Take your time - every card in this room has its own hour.
The package holiday takes off, literally. Cards from Benidorm, Rimini and Palma start crowding out the piers and promenades of home. Type gets bigger, colours get louder, borders vanish.
Pop art creeps onto racks: bold captions, hand-drawn suns, place names in cartoon speech bubbles.
Airmail stickers appear more often than not. The postcard has become the world’s cheapest souvenir.
